on saturday, he qualified third, and due to a DNF in the pre-final after being second, he had to begin last.  The weather changed and the drivers saw rain for the saturday final.  starting from last, guillermo managed to reach second. the gap to first place was just too large and guillermo had to settle for second, but clearly showed he was the fastest driver on the track.  sunday came with a pole position for guillermo. he walked away in the prefinal, winning by four seconds, and walked away to a great victory in the final, winning by seven seconds.  Guillermo thanks all his family and Tony Schroedor.

The course was held July 18-19 at the official F1 and MotoGP track, Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. Guillermo had a great run in the car, clearly showing his natural abilities. He proved to be an extremely fast learner, and the instructors were very impressed. Because of such sucess at the course, Guillermo was invited back by BMW for a chance to win a $40,000 scholarship towards next year's Formula BMW USA season.
